What the pilot stores

When you use the Telegram bot, we store the chat identifier needed to reply, your digest opt-in choice, and the source link and note you submit. Telegram handles its own service data under its privacy policy. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

Use /stopdigest to stop the daily digest and /erasepilot to remove your pilot subscription and unpublished tips. Unpublished tips are kept for no more than 30 days. Operational delivery receipts are retained to prevent duplicates; they are not published.

Editorial choices

We verify public sources, add original practical context and credit the original. Submitted links and notes may be processed by an AI service provider to help review and summarize them. We check the results against our editorial policy. We hold uncertain claims and do not copy source photographs, full articles or personal details.

The pilot is free, does not sell submissions or insert paid placements, and has no advertising SDK. Google Analytics is optional and stays off until you choose Allow. With consent, Google receives browser and page-use data and uses cookies; we measure a read after 15 visible seconds and a return on a later Chicago calendar day. Advertising signals are disabled. These counts describe consenting browsers, not every visitor or a verified number of people. Your choice and last read date are stored in your browser. Use the controls below to turn measurement off and remove its browser cookies. Bot opt-ins and delivery results are counted separately. No visitor fingerprinting is added. Our Cloudflare hosting may also collect basic cookieless website performance and traffic statistics independently of this optional Google setting.

Contact the community desk through /submit for corrections or privacy questions. Existing directory and business listing services are separate.
